Bow Lake is our closet outpost camp located approximately 15 miles Northwest of Pickle Lake. This 9 mile lake is situated on the Otoskwin River system and boasts 3 large rapids to fish below. There is a short 10 minute portage around the largest rapids. At the top, you will find another 14’ Lund with a 9.9hp motor. This boat is also equipped with swivel seats and backrests. From here, you can travel 5 or 6 miles upstream on the Otoskwin River into Froats Lake. You will find another large set of rapids at the end of this journey with outstanding Walleye fishing. Here you can enjoy a traditional shore lunch on a natural rock landing. You may see different wildlife along this route including, moose, caribou, bear, eagles, beavers, otters and possibly even a wolf.

Bow Lake has two large bedrooms that can sleep eight comfortably, a large screened deck propane fridge and stove, solar lighting, hot and cold running water with inside shower, screened fish cleaning station propane BBQ and fish cooker and wooden walkways. It is also equipped with 14’ Lund boats with 9.9hp motors. These boats are also furnished with swivel seats and backrests. This outpost is also equipped with a 2 way VHF radio for communicating with base camp in the event of an emergency (or you run low of your favourite beverage).
