Both the Gitchie and Otoskwin River systems supply this lake and both enter from the west end. Littleford Lake is known as a rocky lake with lots of moving water and rocky bays and points. A forest fire went through this area 6 years ago and thanks to the efforts of many dedicated firefighters, the cabin was spared. The vegetation has started to grow back and the area is now a paradise for wildlife including the majestic Moose. Many guests comment on the numerous sightings. This outpost camp is popular for hunting and fishing alike. It is not uncommon to catch Walleye in the 28” – 32” range and Northerns in excess of 44”.

The cabin at Littleford was updated in 2002 and can accommodate 6 guests comfortably. It is nicely equipped with propane fridge and stove, propane lights, hot and cold running water with inside shower, propane BBQ and fish cooker, 14’ Lund boats with 9.9hp motors equipped with swivel seats with backrests for your comfort. This camp also has a 2-way VHF radio for direct communication with base camp in case of an emergency or you just want to call and brag about the catch of the day!!!!

Littleford Lake will likely see some significant updates this summer similar to those completed last year in Bow Lake including a screened porch, fish cleaning house and some inside updates. Stay tuned for that!!!
